On Saturday, 16 August 2025, Wildtracks Campervans appeared on Discover Britain, which aired on Sky channel 178 at 7pm. The feature is now available to watch on catch-up for those who missed the original broadcast.
The segment offered viewers an introduction to Wildtracks Campervans and the work that goes into designing and converting vehicles for life on the road. It explored how we approache builds, focusing on the practical balance between comfort and functionality that makes campervans a popular choice for people who want to explore the UK, or further afield, at their own pace.
Rather than presenting campervans simply as vehicles, the programme highlighted them as a means to travel flexibly and make the most of Britain’s varied landscapes. The feature included interior shots of our conversions, showing how small spaces are carefully organised with sleeping areas, storage solutions, and kitchen facilities. Attention to detail was a key theme, with the film showing how design choices can make a campervan feel welcoming while remaining efficient.
The episode also touched on the growing appeal of road travel. In recent years, more people have looked for ways to take short breaks or holidays without committing to flights or rigid schedules. Campervans provide the opportunity to reach rural locations, coastal routes, and national parks while keeping accommodation close at hand. For many, this has become an appealing alternative to traditional travel, offering independence and flexibility.
The Discover Britain slot gave Wildtracks Campervans a platform to show not only the end results of our conversions but also the values behind the business. Viewers were able to see how the team’s approach to craftsmanship connects to a wider interest in sustainable and adaptable travel.
For those interested in learning more, the episode remains available on Sky’s catch-up service. It provides a useful overview for anyone considering campervan travel for the first time, as well as for viewers curious about the design process. While brief, the feature succeeds in presenting campervans as more than a trend—showing them instead as a practical and thoughtful way to explore the UK.
